Yesterday I had lunch at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at Mandarin Oriental!
He really is quite a special chef, the way he manages to mix
and experiment, WOW, that is something!
and experiment, WOW, that is something!
There were quite a few weird stuff on the menu - but I went for the
simple choices this time. This restaurant is inside The Mandarin Oriental
and has 2 Michelin Stars! The name of the restaurant might sound
strange but has a meaning and history about it: in the past,
the main meal - dinner - was eaten at midday, before it got too dark,
and as the menu is inspired by historic British Gastronomy, the name
was a perfect choice for Heston!

The service was also perfect at this restaurant - I wasn't blown away
by the food, but the experience itself was really really good!
